LEVERAGE NC VIDEO

SUMMARY

 

Leverage NC is a partnership established in mid 2020 of the NC League of Municipalities, NC Department of Commerce's Main Street & Rural Planning Center, NC Department of Cultural Resources' State Historic Preservation Office, and the NC Downtown Development Association.

 

We aspire to build economic development capacity in every town or city across the state. Our goal is to offer education and training substance that every town can utilize. We are leveraging our unique resources and fieldspecific expertise to benefit towns and cities across the State and developing free and accessible curriculum. Live webinars are converted to videos that live on Leverage NC's website. Other pre-recorded educational videos are available, too. By working together, we can improve access to resources and increase the awareness of proven practical, implementable economic development activities.

 

We conducted a survey in June 2020 that resulted in over 215 responses from municipal leaders. This response identified the most desired educational, economic development needs. We believe you don't have to be big to be innovative and achieve economic success.  In a five month period beginning January 2021, we have had over 2,000 views of our content. And, we have only just begun! Secure your spot now to be associated with one of our videos helping our NC communities become the best versions of themselves.

The Leverage NC website is linked to three other websites, including the NC League of Municipalities, NC Department of Commerce's Main Street & Rural Planning Center and NC Downtown Development Association. Great exposure!  A sponsorship investment is fairly equal to the costs to produce our content. Video sponsor revenues will support the NCLM Local Leadership Foundation's ability to continue supporting Leverage NC's efforts to develop practical economic development training and curriculum.
